    SocialVibe Partners With Interpublic

Los Angeles-based SocialVibe, a Redpoint-funded social media site focused on brand promotion, said this morning that it has inked a strategic partnership with Interpublic's Emerging Media Lab. According to SocialVibe, Interpublic's lab will introduce SocialVibe to IPG's media services and advertising agencies. Interpublic is a major owner of online advertising agencies and related firms. SocialVibe operates an online social media service that allows consumers to endorse brands through Facebook, MySpace, blogs, and other web sites, earning points they can send to charities. The firm scored $4.2M in a venture round from Redpoint Ventures in December of 2007.
